ASHEVILLE, NC – Movement Bank is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch location in Asheville, North Carolina. The launch is the fourth among the bank’s expanding network of community-based branches.
Movement Bank aims to meet the region’s increasing needs for everyday consumer financial services and offers a variety of mortgage options, as well as commercial lending and cash management products to help businesses prosper.
Commenting on the opening, Lacy Cross, Senior Commercial Banking Officer at Movement Bank, said, “Our Asheville Leadership has lived and worked in the Asheville MSA market for over the past 20 years. We feel this community needs a mission-based bank that fills the needs of the community. We are proud to be bringing the Movement to Asheville.”
The opening comes immediately after the bank’s recent core operating system upgrade in February to provide its customers with new digital capabilities and enhanced services across all its digital platforms.
“We are proud to launch a full-service community bank with a legacy rooted in service,” says Rubi Molina, Branch Manager at Movement Bank. “Our experienced local team is excited to serve the Arden/Asheville community and surrounding areas. Our commitment is to partner with a great community of people and play our part in the economic growth that is expected for the Asheville MSA.”
Movement Bank will open its doors to the public at 9:00 AM on Monday, April 3, 2023, located at 2397 Hendersonville Road, Arden, NC. The bank will host its community-wide grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on-site on April 26, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
